    不是懂英文生字就可以做翻譯，要全盤熟悉這個故事，及歐洲文化背景方可，從來就沒有一本詞典說過ｙｏｕｔｈ可解作羅密歐的，光是查字典是沒用，只會錯誤百出．若不了解背景，就會將ｄｅａｔｈ當作生命，確實是顛倒是非．我也在其它地方看過這譯文，這就是中國大陸之英語水平了，難怪那麼多學生要來香港讀碩士，難怪亞洲九大著名大學，沒有一所是大陸的，四大之中，卻有三間是香港的學校．

    這篇譯文錯誤百出,特此糾正:第一行與第六行的youth不是青春,而是指男子,即羅密歐;第九行是愛的"短暫"季節,漏了"短暫"二字,第十一行是"只想"而不想到,第十五行第三個英文字是caper,第十六行徹底錯誤,正確意思是"死神將來奪取我們性命,夫復何言", 文字譯得好壞是一回事,總不能譯錯至離題萬丈
